Your Key Responsibilities
- Employ radiographic and CT methods to capture pivotal diagnostic images for medical review
- Work collaboratively with radiologists and other healthcare professionals for precise diagnoses
- Position patients accurately while setting up equipment for optimal imaging results
- Adhere to strict radiation safety protocols to protect everyone involved
- Maintain comprehensive records, including imaging documentation and equipment upkeep
- Deliver empathetic patient care throughout the entire imaging procedure
- Help cultivate a safe and efficient imaging environment for all users
- Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology is essential; a Bachelor's Degree is advantageous
- Graduation from an accredited radiology program is required
- ARRT certification (CT and/or Radiography) is necessary
- Valid BLS certification or capability to obtain it within 90 days upon hiring
- Thorough understanding of diagnostic imaging protocols and safety guidelines
- Strong communication abilities with both patients and team members from different disciplines
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment and rapidly adjust to varying demands
- Meticulous attention to detail combined with a strong sense of responsibility
- Comfort with technology, including PACS, RIS, and contemporary imaging software
