About the Role

We are a high-level transportation and logistics company seeking a

Logistics Coordinator

who will proactively manage daily freight operations and deliver top-tier customer service. This is a multifaceted role that includes coordinating shipments, communicating with drivers and customers, and ensuring every load runs smoothly from pickup to delivery. What You'll Do

  • Book and dispatch loads with carriers/drivers

  • Evaluate carrier reliability and ensure they meet customer requirements

  • Provide accurate pickup/delivery details and instructions

  • Send rate confirmations quickly and accurately

  • Track & trace shipments in real time

  • Proactively communicate updates, delays, and issues to customers

  • Handle high-volume inbound/outbound calls, emails, and messages

  • Resolve issues quickly and professionally

  • Audit invoices to ensure accurate billing and timely processing

  • Collaborate with team members to manage workload and coverage

Required Skills

  • Comfortable working across multiple systems and screens simultaneously

  • Ability to manage a high volume of calls and tasks efficiently

Preferred Experience

  • 1–2+ years in logistics, dispatch, freight brokerage, or transportation

  • Experience booking loads and working with drivers/carriers

  • Familiarity with TMS systems (not required but a plus)

Schedule

  • Full-time, in-office position (8am-4pm)

  • Weekend rotation:

    1 weekend every 7 weeks

    (after training/probation)

  • Occasional overtime as needed

    not a remote position
