EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION YOU WILL NEED

• 6+ years of progressive retail buying experience
• Experience with buyer hardware items
• Proven success in vendor negotiations and product assortment planning
• Strong financial analysis, budgeting, and margin management skills
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities - bilingual (Spanish/English) strongly preferred
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

MAIN DUTIES OF THE JOB

• Lead product selection, pricing, and negotiations to meet sales and profit goals
• Manage SKU assortment within space and operational constraints
• Develop vendor relationships and negotiate favorable terms
• Conduct market research and source new vendor partnerships
• Analyze sales data and market trends to optimize buying strategies
