Role Description

This is a full-time remote position for a Litigation Attorney specializing in Civil Defense. The attorney will handle all aspects of litigation, including drafting legal motions, preparing for and attending trials, conducting depositions, and participating in court proceedings. Additionally, responsibilities include analyzing case merits, strategizing with clients, researching legal issues, and working collaboratively with the firm's legal team to achieve favorable outcomes.

Qualifications

• Strong expertise in law, including a deep understanding of legal principles and case analysis
• Proficiency in drafting, filing, and responding to motions
• Experience with court proceedings and effectively presenting arguments before judges
• Hands-on experience with trials and depositions, including preparation and execution
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Active license to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment while managing deadlines and multitasking
• Prior experience in civil defense or insurance-related litigation is a plus
