A company is looking for a GEF Project Design Specialist for Latin America and the Caribbean.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide technical expertise in the identification and design of natural resource/environmental project proposalsLead multidisciplinary teams to assist in formulating natural resource and environmental management projects for GEF financingPrepare full project documentation and ensure quality control of GEF project concepts and documentsRequired QualificationsAdvanced university degree in natural resources management, international relations, social or environmental sciences, or equivalentAt least five years of relevant experience in GEF project design related to biodiversity, climate change, or sustainable managementWorking knowledge of English and SpanishExperience with GEF and other environmental funds' proceduresExperience in project design in the Latin America and the Caribbean region is desirable
