Senior In-House Litigation Attorney

Location: Madison, WI (requires relocation). We recruit nationally and provide financial relocation assistance.

Job Overview

Support ongoing growth as we expand offerings and enter new global markets. Primary focus on managing complex litigation and counseling on regulatory, competition, healthcare law and related risk areas. Assist in handling and winning multi‑million dollar disputes, minimize risk via proactive counseling, and represent Epic in high‑stakes legal proceedings. Forge relationships with vendors and industry collaborators, ensuring compliance with existing and developing legal frameworks in the US and abroad. Responsibility will grow rapidly.

Responsibilities

• Manage complex litigation and counsel on regulatory, competition, healthcare law and related risk areas.
• Handle and win multi‑million dollar disputes, minimize risk through proactive counseling.
• Represent Epic in high‑stakes legal proceedings.
• Develop relationships with vendors and industry collaborators and ensure compliance with legal frameworks nationwide and abroad.

Qualifications

• JD with experience counseling toward risk mitigation, drafting motions and briefs, taking depositions, conducting oral arguments, leading settlement negotiations, and trying cases. Competition and regulatory litigation experience is a plus.
• Strong academic and professional background.
• Eye for detail, creative mind, excellent communication, writing and analytic skills.
