Outside Services Attendant II

Private Golf Club has an Outside Services Attendant II position opening, this position is full-time, 30-plus hours a week.

Summary:

• Provides bag/cart services to members and guests.
• Provides outstanding internal and external customer service to all employees, members, and guests of the La Jolla Country Club.
• Please note this is a Non-tipping position.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

• Serves as a representative of the Club, displaying courtesy, tact, consideration, and discretion in all interactions with other staff, management, members, and guests.
• Compliance with all Club Safety Regulations and participation in ongoing Safety Seminars.
• Greets each member in a friendly, professional manner.
• Assists members and guests as they approach the bag storage area.
• Monitors the bag drop area for new arrivals.
• Brings carts from the cart shelter to the cart staging area outside the Golf Shop.
• Removes bags from the Bag Storage Room and loads them onto carts.
• Ensures that golf cart supplies (towels, pencils, scorecards, tees, sand) are replenished upon cart turnaround and that all pull/push carts have adequate supplies (towels, pencils, scorecards, tees, sand) before use by golfers.
• Removes bags from carts and returns bags to the assigned rack in the Bag Storage Room.
• Tournament preparation.
• Cleans and repairs golf clubs.
• Adheres to the Club's standards for the set-up of the driving range.
• Transports range balls to each end of the range and fill appropriate containers.
• Place baskets of balls at evenly spaced intervals on the range.
• Operates tractor and ball picker on the range to retrieve balls.
• Washes all range balls daily.
• Returns carts to cart shelter; removes towels, pencils, score cards, tees, drink cans, etc., from carts and saves reusable items; washes carts with pressure cleaner; parks cart in the shelter and connects charger cable.
• Provide customer service and monitor ball levels and cleanliness of the entire practice facility (driving range/chipping and short game areas).
• Operate the employee shuttle when needed.
• Follows all rules, policies, and procedures set forth by LJCC management.
• Other duties as assigned.
