Warehouse Associate

We are looking to hire a hardworking and motivated Warehouse Associate for our Daniels' medical waste treatment facility in San Diego, CA who will be responsible for loading and unloading trucks and assist in the packing of customer orders. They will also prepare and pack outgoing customer orders for transport, in addition to moving trucks and taking care of housekeeping duties.

This role offers a high degree of autonomy, stable hours, access to some OT and good benefits. We supply above and beyond the standard PPE for safe handling of medical waste and take training of our staff seriously.

What will your job involve?

• Load and unload trucks daily, handling regulated medical waste and sharps containers
• Repeatedly lift 5075 lb containers throughout your shift
• Push and maneuver four-wheeled carts weighing up to 200 lbs
• Weigh incoming waste using our Weighbridge system
• Prepare, pack, and stage outgoing customer orders for transport
• Operate forklifts and hand trucks (training provided)
• Complete required paperwork accurately and on time
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Work closely with your teammates to ensure all transports are ready on schedule
