Warehouse Specialist – 1st ShiftWe are looking for a Warehouse Specialist – 1st Shift for the Aftermarket team. In this position you will be responsible for receiving of parts and preparing inventory for shipment to the client. This position requires you to be always organized and safety conscious.This position is based on-site at our Chula Vista, CA facility and will be part of the IAM Local 755. This is a 1st shift position required to work Monday - Friday (6:30am -3:00pm).What You Will DoPull parts that have been stored in a warehouse stored as inventoryCycle counting of inventoryOpening of supplier product to be stored in a warehouseBox and prep customer orders for shipmentProcess, store, and send inventory according to purchase orders and shipping schedulesLoad and unload orders from various carriers and freight forwardersOrganize incoming deliveriesApply the appropriate labels on outgoing parcelsOperate licensed lift trucks of any capacityMaintain good shop practices including safety and housekeepingThis position stands for long periods of timeYou will be carrying loads up to 30 poundsQualifications You Must HaveTypically HS diploma, GED with 4 years of relevant experience, is requiredPrior experience working in a warehouseExperience with safety practices and proceduresExperience working with computersQualifications We PreferAble to follow verbal and written instructionsExperience with forklift and operating a radio craneAble to work independentlyThe ability to use SAPWhat We OfferExcellent payBenefits including Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance all available on Day 1Retirement Program with a Company MatchAnd much moreApply now and be part of the team that's redefining aerospace, every day.
